On 9th September, 1974 A boy was born in Himachal Pradesh. During Kargil war in 1999 Captain Vikram Batra was ordered to capture Peak 5140. AT that time Peak 5140 was filled with Pakistani soldiers with guns and other war equipment. Captain Vikram Batra captures peak 5140. After capturing the peak he sent the message to base camp with this line “Yeh Dil Mange More”
In the early Morning on 7th July 1999, He was ordered to rescue an injured soldier. During this rescue attempt, he pushed his Subedar saying “ tu baal Bacchedar hain, Hat ja peeche” and was killed in action while clearing enemy positions. His last words wer “Jai Mata Di”.
